Light Bleeding

I have had light bleeding EVERY DAY since LAVH on November 30th. Is this normal? I haven't had a break at all. Looking forward to no bleeding..in fact that's the most exciting part of this whole procedure to me.

Light Bleeding

Hi Diamond1,

I also had a lap hyst and from what I understand and I have read on Hyster Sisters, it can be normal to have some spotting the first few weeks after a lap hyst. I can suggest you call your Dr. if it bothers you too much.

Best wishes,

Mary

Light Bleeding

I had bleeding for about two weeks afterwards. I heard that you can experience light bleeding for up to 6 weeks.

Light Bleeding

Hi, I had LAVH and also had light bleeding (just enough to need a panty liner) for 2 - 3 weeks. At 2 weeks, I even had a very short episode of a little heavier (red) bleeding, which my doc later advised was normal. Prior to my hyst, I had, at a MINIMUM, light bleeding EVERY DAY for the last several years. It is SOOOO nice not having that concern anymore! You'll get there!

Light Bleeding

I also had LAVH and I am still experiencing slight bleeding. Sometimes there is an hour or so with none but that's all. I have been told I could have this for 12 weeks. Best to ask though if you're worried. I hadn't realised beforehand it could go on for this long. I am so fed up of buying new packs of pany liners.

Light Bleeding

I was told it will be light but could continue up to eight weeks as well. It is a little annoying, mine was NOV 30th as well, but better for me than before and it seems to be lessening these past couple of days. Hang in there, as long you are not in a great deal of pain at this point I think it is normal...

Light Bleeding

That's my question too. I'm bleeding, not much but I change the pad alot because I don't want infection. Looks like I have to wait awhile for this to stop. GRRREEAATT!!
