TVH 3 weeks post hysterectomy (TVH) and bleeding

I am 3 weeks post surgery. My lower back began hurting today and then tonight I started bleeding bright red blood. Is this normal or has anyone else had this happen?

How much are you bleeding? Or is it more like light spotting? You should call your doctor if you are unsure.

If your bleeding a lot of blood, like soaking pads, my doctor said a soaked pad within an hour is a sign to go straight to the ER.

Are you still bleeding?

I'm in week three as well and just started having some spotting red but definitely not flow like a period. I think I may have overdid it the last few days with housework and some shopping. I'll keep an eye on it and take a step back in my activity.
