New and surgery tomarrow
Hello all I am writing to just basically talk to someone. Tomarrow I am having a LAVH and having my ovaries removed also. I just turned 28 two weeks ago, and frankly I am scared of the not-knowing. Me and my doc have decided enoguh is enough. I have had reaccurent ovarian cysts on my ovaried and lots of scar tissue and adhesions. I have had two children and already had my tubes tied two years ago. The military has given my 4 weeks off to recover I hope I will be will soon. I have an almost 2 yr old and a 10 yr old.
Thanks for listening

Welcome Sister. I am glad you got to experience the joy of having children before having to go thru this. I go for my visit on April 29th. You made a wise decision. Everyone I talk to say they haven't regretted it for a second. You will be fine, I am sure. Trust your doctor and pray. I am not a very religious person but it seems that those Hail Mary's have been flowing quite freely lately. You will be in my prayers . Be sure and come back and let us know all went well and to post your story. I am sure everyone will be anxious to read it.
Good luck!

Hi amydionne,
I know it is close to your surgery, but I wanted to say hi, and welcome you. Ask any questions you want, ramble, and vent.... tonite, all nite, tomorrow at dawn, whatever. I have learned, someone is always awake and available here when you need to talk. I hope it all goes well.
If I do not see any posts from you tonite, I will assume you are resting up for tomorrow! We will look forward to your post when you get home from 'the castle'.
lots of hugs

try not to dwell on it
You'll do just fine. I think we're all a little nervous. It's helped me to keep busy, and not think about it too much. If you have any questions, (i know i did) this is definately the place to get some answers. Good Luck to ya, we'll be praying.
