Yes. I am feeling crampy and yucky. I just want to sleep all day and have no energy. Is this normal?

I'm feeling like that and depression is sitting in big time. I had to call the Dr. for pains in left side this week. I thought keeping ovaries was the ticket to beating PMS. I feel the same, am I suppose to go thru this or is it all in my mind. My husband doesn't want to talk to me and and I have no one else. Maybe its just me feeling sorry for my self. Are your hormones suppose to be this out of wack?

Friend, I am sorry you have the "yucks". The UTI is probably cause your lack of energy, so try to be patient. I just purchased a spandex panty for extra support today, AND it makes my belly (and back) feel so much better! I ordered it online through jcpenney.com, since I am not supposed to drive for 4-6 weeks, yuck. As for the crampy, how about a low dose of Motrin?

Take care...Sue

As mentioned, having a UTI can wipe you out. Also, you kept an ovary, could you be ovulating? That can cause some crampy feelings and PMS can make you feel yuck!

I hope you start feeling better soon. If not, you might want to let your dr know how you are feeling.

in there!

I have no cramping but do have the general yucky feeling..I am 4 wk po and i will have 1 good day and then 3 bad after that..I really thought at this point i would feel so much better..I am not doing to much either..My roommate takes care of everything..But, just to go out and do a little shopping and walking around does me in..I had my 4 wk po appt yesterday and he said everyhthing looked good just that it would be a slow process..I get down when i have a few bad days then i will have a good day and think ok it isn't so bad. I just keep hoping it will get better..You can private message me if you like. I hope you get to feeling better soon

I am just about 3 weeks post op. I had bladder repair due to adhesion and had to wear catheter for 10 days and developed a UTI because of that. I felt lousy because of the UTI but such relief when the catheter was out! I felt really well after the UTI resolved, but now at 3 weeks I dont feel as well as I did last week... very discouraging because I basically feel quite useless. I think my family thinks I should be up and about more, and I am trying to get into some simple routines... making easy dinners and light housework, but I end up on the couch most of day still. I understand your frustration and just look forward to feeling "normal again"... I think this whole process was much harder than I expected it would be and it is soooooo theraputic for me to know that there are others out there going through this same thing, and that this is "normal" for where we are now for the most part... lets just hang in there and wait for things to get better!

JuJu hang in there. I will be 4 weeks Monday and my family is the same way. I want to cook but it wears me out. I've washed, dried and folded clothes and can not put them up because I am tired. I did load the dishwasher and start it. That was not no bad. I agree lets hang in there and it will get better.
