dVH/RALH: 2 post-op hysterectomy appointments today

O have 2 post-op appointments today and I'm so very nervous. I didn't sleep last night and had palpatations. It is finally hitting me that i'm just a few days out from surgery. Any advise on how to keep as calm as possible will be greatly appreciated.

Deep breaths. Seriously, it's physically impossible to panic when breathing deeply. In for 4, hold for 2, out for 8. Focus on the count and it will keep you from focusing on your fears.

I feel you on the nervousness part. Take some time to relax, read a book, watch a bad movie, soak in the bathtub. Speedy recovery!
