Little update please from Oct 30 surg?

Can people please post what they have been up to that had their ops around this time? Cross stitch, knitting, out in the car as a passenger, movies out or just DVD's in?
I'm kinda thinking that I might be babying myself to much. Would like to expand my limits a bit.

Did you try checking through the recovery thread for your date? (I believe it's still a sticky at the top).

In our thread we include a lot of us include that in our update because it's progress too, a part of returning to life.

And did you look at the post-op checkpoints for your week? Those have great what you can and can not dos!

I had my hysterectomy of October 30th also. I have been very bored out of my mind. Luckly, the pain is decreasing some. I am only 25 and you would think that i should have no problem and deal with the pain better. My neck shoulder back is still so sore. Surgery took 3 hours instead of 1 1/2 hrs. I have been watching tv and resting. At times taking a bath is exhausting. I have some energy then feel like crap later on. When I have my burst of energy I do not take advantage of it because i found out i will pay later. Good Luck I'm sure it will get better. The doctor even told me not to be a passenger in the car for two weeks. I feel helpless not hardly being able to do anything. With the 10-15 pound limit. Luckly good mother and grandmother.
