New Bleeding

I am a little over three weeks post- op and just went to the bathroom and noticed a little bleeding. This is a first for me since surgery. I had everything removed. Any ideas?

spotting/bleeding is normal for up to 6 weeks post op but if you have any pain or it gets heavy, you should let your dr know. i wouldnt worry about it too much.

I think its normal, it could be part of the healing process, and the stitches....tell your doctor anyway, just to be sure, but I wouldnt worry about it too much, now if it get heavy like you soak up a pad in less than an hour or is bright red, call your doctor.....

Funny, I had my surgery the very same day you did and I had blood for the first time today too. Just a tiny bit when I went to the bathroom.
My Dr. had warned me that when the stitches dissolved I may have something like that and not to worry unless there was a lot of blood. I think and hope we are just healing my friend.

just another thing, if the doctor cauterized the cervics you could pass small clots. this is considered normal but talk to your dr if this happens. Mine forgot to tell me about the clots and I got a little freaked. I hope this isn't scaring you it was a normal process of healing.

New Bleeding

I had been having a brownish discharge, but there was a little pink in it today and I called my doc office and the nurse said it is normal with everything healing. I just want to be through with all of that.

Me too!

I had my surgery on May 7th and the light brownish discharge started yesterday. The dr. office had called to check on me and when I mentioned the bleeding, they said it was normal. I should be careful not to overdo and call if it becomes heavy.

Dr said it was normal because I am becoming more active. Just watch so it doesn't become heavy and call if it does.
Thanks again
