Re: Things I learned about myself.

I have learned that:
1. I am a strong person - I was terrified of op beforehand as I hate blood and stitches etc. the thought of it was so daunting. I had a rough surgery and had 36 staples from top of tummy button to my bits. Apart from a few fainting episodes first night ( due to shock of ovaries being removed) nothing. I haven't cried or fainted and dealt with everything so well.

2. I can get through anything. This was a tough experience and I realise I can do anything if I work at it. It has changed my outlook and how I feel about myself.
Weight loss to goal and new job by end of 2013 are next.

3. I have a wonderful caring husband and children who really took care of me before and after surgery.

4. I have some marvellous genuine and caring friends and some work colleagues who have text messages, phoned and visited me. They have made me laugh and kept my spirits high.

5. I have a new life free from pain. There are many people in this world who for whatever reason are in pain and suffering. I intend to make the most of the rest of my life, be positive and support others - do more for charity and society in general.
