Question for those who had TAH - forget granny panties buy boxers?

I have been reading up on this because at week 3 I was about to break down and buy granny panties to be more comfortable but read prior post from 2 years ago that a lot of woman have bought boxers and they said they were really comfortable for Tah hysterectomy . I want to go out tomorrow and buy them.. Have any woman bought them that have Tah and are they comfortable ??? Any input from my sisters will help

I stick with girls "boy" briefs, hanes has some new cotton ones out that are great.

They would be very comfortable, I'm sure. If you have any discharge from stitches dissolving though, they wouldn't be pad-friendly (unless you choose boxer briefs, which I do own and find very comfortable). Otherwise, I think that that is a terrific idea.

I got them to give me 5 pairs of the hospital underwear. I have found them to be awesome and they are holding up to washing better than I expected. I am thinking of calling a nurse friend and asking her to get me a few more pair.

I wear bikini undies but got them in a size bigger than i wear so the elastic
doesn't dig into the scar (cause that hurts).

Found full briefs were too much on my sore tummy.

I didn't throw away money purchasing new, bigger undies or anything else in terms of post-op lingerie. For the first few weeks post-op when my incision was healing I just wore older, softer, more "stretched out" underpants I already had on hand.

I just wanted ya'll to know that we are now carrying Granny panties in the HysterSisters Store.
