Where to get a binder...

So after reading a lot about a binder on here I for sure want to have one. For the ladies that do have one...where did you get yours? I know that one is sold here with an ice pack pocket but I am worried that the bulge from the pocket would hurt. So has anyone bought one from here? Liked it or not? And where did everyone get theirs from who has one?!

During this surgery the hospital gave me one although it was not nearly as nice as the one on here and in fact need to be cut down as it was way to big for me (5ft tall) Some ladies like support panties to bind your tummy (larger than you need so your not squeezed to hard) Good Luck with your surgery and a speedy recovery.

I got mine from this site....the Perfect Pocket binder and LOVE the cold packs.

It took me roughly 8 days to be able to wear it comfortably but I held the cold packs on my tummy the first few days at home since I wasn't getting around much. I do have a large, vertical incision.

It is bulky with the cold pack in it but hey, its not like you are gonna want to go out dancing and looking your best for a while. lol

The cold packs feel so good on my incision. It gets achy and burns. Plus, with this binder you can walk around with the cold packs in it, unlike having to "hold" an ice pack to your tummy every time you get up. It keeps things from giggling around too much and provides good support also.

My doc didn't think it was necessary to have one and the hospital didn't offer one either.

I'm glad I bought mine several weeks before my surgery.

Wow, re-reading my post, I sound like I'm doing some kind of commercial.

The hosptial gave me mine, if I need ice packs I just put them over the top or remove it and put the pack on top of my shirt. Oh a tip about ice packs, you can use frozen pea packs they are super light weight, and in a bunch I realized frozen broccoli works well too! Guess the dog will be getting my frozen/unfrozen/frozen again organic veggies!
