5 days post op and happy

Hi ladies,
I'm 5 days out from my tah and it feels good to sleep in my own bed again and even better to have had my first bowel movement today (tmi I know n I'm sorry) but I was getting a little worried about that but now that that's happen I feel great and would just like to thank all you ladies for the hugs and well wishes

Isn't it great when it's all over, you're home in your own bed.....and yes the longed for BM has happened! Lol. Glad you are feeling happy. I am 10 days post op, TAH and removal of a large fibroid the size of a 24 week pregnancy, so pleased to get that out of me! I feel great, no great problems so far, (touch wood). I felt the waiting for the op was the worst and now that it's all over I feel elated, even enjoying being at home and not being able to drive. The bit that I have to keep reminding myself is no more periods!!!!! Yay, it's like winning the lottery.
