Re: Incision pain/pulling

I have. It came and went and I was told its alot going on inside. But if they look like they are healing, i wouldn't worry to much about it.

Re: Incision pain/pulling

Burning and pulling is very common as healing progresses. It's the nerves regenerating and finding new paths after being cut. It is not the most comfortable thing in the world but at least a sign that things are progressing.

Re: Incision pain/pulling

yep I had that from day one in one particular spot at the end of the incision. It used to really yank when I twisted or tried to sit/stand. It felt like it should be bleeding or split but it wasn't.
Someone told me it might be the end of the internal stitching where they kind of pull it all tight before tying it off. Maybe some parts are stitiched a bit tighter than other, I don't know.
Anyway, over time it went off - I would say after about 4 weeks the incision area was not pulling, even though I still had internal bruising elswhere in my trunk. Every week gets a little bit easier. Take care x

yes, and I'm guessing that it's normal. I also still have staples in. and, remember that after they cut u open, they probably overlapped someof ur skin to sew/staple u back together.
