Sore all day after evening outing

5 weeks pos-op and first time out to play cards. Was so happy to get out didn't care that I didn't win! Still I guess sitting up, laughing and enjoying myself was hard on my body and I paid all day today!
I keep getting a burning pain in my left side which is where the incision ended. The incision itself has closed finally but is still red and swollen in spots. Does anyone else out there have a sore butt ? I feel like my tailbone is bruised! Still can't sleep either, usually 2 or 3 before I finally doze off. My dh is pretty protective and was pevieved that we stayed out so late but it was sooooo much fun! Decided not to have my parents over because I didn't want to arm wrestle an 86 yr old for the couch!
Guess you just have to take it slow if your body yells ouch! Have my 6 week check up next Fri and will behave til then. If I hit WalMart I'm being pushed or using the electric chairWATCH OUT PEOPLE HERE I COME!

Ok we are in the same boat...... I way overdid it today, I went swimming ( cleared by dr for that) and went to walmart. I am soooooo sore and my incision site is so bothering me with a stinging and burning and my belly is rock hard. I am so taking it easy tomorrow all day! I need to relax for dd's bowling banquet tomorrow night... she is up for 3 trophies and I got to make sure I am there for her proud moment.
