4 1/2 weeks post hysterectomy feeling bad

Ok lady's!

Wondering if anyone had what I am experiencing!

I am thirty years old mom of two children who hAd a lavh with ovaries removed on 4/13 I felt good after surgery. I took no pain medication and went back to work after 12 days!

However now 4 weeks later I feel horrible! Abdominal pain, vaginal pressure/burning, fatigue, dizziness! I hAve not hand any vaginal bleeding (entire time)! Is it possible I injured something? I think I have a pretty high pain tolerance and I am not feeling well! Since it's been almost five weeks a couple days ago hubby and I attempted inter course but penatration hurt do we didn't proceed!

Anyone have a similar story! I thought about texting my surgeon (yes I have his number). But I don't really want to bother him on weekend or his time off so I figured I would lay on couch and see if pain subsided before I jumped to dr or er!

Re: 4 1/2 weeks feeling bad

If you had an LAVH, I'm assuming that you had your cervix removed as well. I had my surgery the same week with all but one ovary removed. My post-op instructions stated no intercourse for six weeks and it could be longer depending upon how I am healing. While I have not gone through the same thing if your symptoms started after attempting intercourse, I would go ahead and text your surgeon as you want to make sure you did not introduce any bacteria to your vaginal area while it is healing. I hope you feel better.
