Week 5 Post-op & Drove !!

Don't let others belittle what you have gone through!!!We've all had more or less surgery so to compare is not always fair. Listen to the positive people. We need warm fuzzies not cold pricklies at this stage in our lives.Do what's good for you and ignore the negative feedback. I certainly knew I never wanted to be superwoman!

Hi Chg4evr ! Interested to hear the results of your Dr's visit. As you can see from my posting above - DR told me everything is normal for recovery at this stage. Am having another good day in terms of energy. I even feel like taking our labrador for a walk for the first time since surgery. Trouble is he weighs around 35 kilos and he's fine until he sees another dog and then he seems to think its his canine duty to go up and introduce himself - whether the other dog is the other side of the lane or not ! DH says he could walk us down to the wood where the dog goes off lead and and then come back and pick us up at the wood entrance when we've finished. So maybe.........Have a good day !
