Did your adeno pain feel like ovulation pain?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had adeno pain that felt like it was "ovulation" pain? I have had constant pain for the last three days, Monday it was terrible, sharp pains and pulling pain, even into my left groin area, can also feel a cramping sensation down my left leg. Now for the past two days it has been pain but it's constant but not sharp like Monday's. Now I have the cramping and pulling pain.

I cannot take narcotic pain meds by mouth but am at least trying for now to take half of a vicodin pill every two hours, at least it's getting something in me and I'm not getting the nausea as bad.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this. It seems this pain is getting worst as the months go on. Waiting for my hysteroscopy in two weeks and she's also checking for cancer which is a scary thought! I wake up in the middle of the night thinking because I tried to play "internet doctor" (lol) and looked up uterine cancer and every single symptom is what I am dealing with!! Scary so please keep your fingers crossed for me!!

Thanks!

Did your adeno pain feel like ovulation pain?

Hi

I mainly blamed my adenomyosis for my heavy, painful period with severe cramps and clots. But...since I had a multitude of things wrong it's hard to differentiate which problem caused what. I contributed my painful ovulation to my endometriosis. Again, can't know for sure.

Whatever is causing your pain, I'm sorry you are hurting and I hope your surgery takes care of it. I still have some. Feels like my left ovary is still there.

Sending gentle s to you,
Beth

Did your adeno pain feel like ovulation pain?

hi, just caught your post when i did my search, and I can identify with your symptoms! The pain/pulling that i have is like yours, and goes into the groin/hip/upper thigh. I am not sure if it is when i ovulate or not, since i had an endo ablation done 4 years ago for severe menstral pain, so not sure of my cycles. Do you have this pain thru out the month? i started to track my pain and see if it follows the cycle. When i was having regular periods, every other month i would have such painful ovulation for one day, and then 2 less painful. This pain that I have had is very very similar. My gyn. suspects adeno, and wants to take the left ovary as well. Do you have the pain more on one side? Have they found any cysts? They found a large ovarian cyst on my left ovary, that i know was causing alot of pulling/pressure. It has gone thank goodness, but i still get that pulling/pain around the ovary. Hope this feedback helps, try warm baths, it helps for me,

Elaine
