Re: What is this feeling I can't shake?

I am 29, 2 biological, 1 step, but never had any kids with my DH. In fact only found my problems when after 7 years of not conceiving, we finally went in. I would of loved to have just 1 more baby though, to know it was my last. Yes, I wont be in pain for 2 out of 3 weeks. Wont be bleeding uncontrollably, but just knowing that having another kid isn't even an option... Plainly just sucks! I have 6 days to go to TH with Da Vinci, leaving the ovaries, got laid off at the worst possible time (last day at work on Friday) and have a bazillion other things going on in my hectic life. Am upset, nervous, and so many other emotions that I can't pinpoint... Just ready to be home and recouping already....

Good luck to you all on your procedures!

I am right there with you. Everyone around me acts like this surgery is no big deal and I have the same feelings you are having. I am 38, have 3 kids, and am so nervous about the recovery it is ridiculous.

Re: What is this feeling I can't shake?

Honestly, after the first few days the hardest part of recovery is resting and not doing too much. It's especially hard to do if you've been active prior to surgery and have others you have to care for. Just remember: you only have one chance to heal correctly. Don't rush it. Hugs & Healing to all of you!!
