TLH: 3 weeks before surgery

Well, I am 41 y/o and will be having a TLH on 3/15. Been having problems with endometriosis and serious pain with intercourse. Guess I am nervous and scared and having a hard time with coping and dont think hubby really understands what I am going thru. I really just cant wait for all the pain to be gone and then I can get back to being me hopefully. anyone out there where there significant other doesn't understand and how r u coping.

I'm one day behind you and it seems so much further than 3 weeks away!! I don't have a husband to deal with, but I'm not talking a whole lot about things. My issues are undefined at this point. The doctor isn't really sure what he'll find when he gets there. I had an endometrial biopsy that was fine, but he says he just doesn't have a good feeling based on my symptoms and blood work. As far as coping, I realize that whatever is going to happen is going to happen no matter how much I stress and freak out, so I'm just not going to do that. I'm going to take it one day at a time and deal with whatever is thrown at me as it comes. That's not to say that I haven't had my meltdowns, but as a whole I'm not worrying about it.
