If You Had Numbness Or Tingling Pain In A "Line" In You Inner Thighs

I know this is a very specific and odd topic.
I have had an annoying weakness and tingling in my inner thighs since my surgery in February.

Of course, I was sore everywhere after my surgery and I didn't notice it much for the first two months as I was weak initially and I slowly got stronger.

By month 3, I was walking 4 MPH for about 30-45 minutes a day, 7 days a week. I felt the weakness and tingling, but thought that it was because I was exercising too much.

By month 4 and 5 I noticed that it was still there, and I noticed that I was "wobbly" when I tried to stand up from a laying or sitting position. Going down the stairs is done with caution.

I finally told my doctor about it month 5, but we agreed to watch it closely and see.

Now it has been 8 months post op and while it is a little better, it is still there.

I requested a consult with a neurologist.

I know that some of you have had this problem.
It just seems strange that it is in a "line" in my inner thighs, from my knees up to my va jay jay.

If you had this problem, what happened; how was this resolved? Did it ever go away?

Thanks for your help, as I am a little worried.

I have had that (after c-section) and was told it's most likely a pinched nerve. An MRI of the spine/lower back would show swelling and/or thinning of a disk. I hope you can get further testing and physical therapy.

I would ask for an MRI. I recently had this and it turned out to be a strained muscle along with a pinched nerve. I see a chiropractor for it. Physical therapy can also help but I would see the doc before doing anything else. Hope they figure it out and make you more comfortable.

Good idea. Just a suggestion to help at appointment. Write everything down so that you can make sure you get good results. I found that way I don't forget things while I am there. Good luck.
