May 8th

I had a TVH, subuterthral sling, rectocele repair and another repair, not expected and I don't know what it was called, on May 8th. Came home today and am doing okay. There is some pain but not too bad. The pain after the surgery on my broken leg was worse. Of course, using crutches is a bit hard and pulls a bit, but not to bad. I am just very slow. The DR was awesome, I just love him, and he came down to the floor to see me several times each day. My orthopaedic surgeon was only down once each day.

He did say he had to do another procedure because when he pulled on the cervix to pull it down everything else just kinda kept coming. He said it was a bit like turning a sock inside out. You know, put your hand inside and pull at the toe. Ooh, fun. I guess if I had waited much longer my uterus would have fallen out. Walking down the street, and squish. Hey, sorry, that pink thing is my mine. Can you hand it to me.. Ha.. Anway, everything is going okay. I have to go and get back in bed before DH comes and yells at me..

(((Brokenleg)))
Bless your heart, you have really been through a rough time it sounds. I'm glad to hear you have an attentive dr taking good care of you. The repairs can add a little to the recovery so just take it easy and don't try to sit for very long at a time. I used a donut pillow for that too and it helped a lot.
I hope every goes smoothly for you. Keep us posted on your progress.
's, Rita
