4 Months Post Op - Where did my libido go?
I feel like I have completely lost my libido. Does anyone else feel this way? For the first 6 weeks post op, I couldn't wait to get the green light, but now I feel like I could care less. I don't like feeling this way, and am considering asking about having my testosterone levels checked. I can't take hormones (and don't really want to any way) so don't know if that is contributing or not. Sex can still be somewhat painful so maybe that's not helping. Any suggestions?

Unfortunately it sounds like your stored hormone supply has been depleted. It isn't unusual for there to be a spike in the libido after surgery but, for those of us with a BSO, to see a drop later on.
Definitely having lowered hormone levels would be a contributing factor, as does pain. For me compounded testosterone has helped, I think others use some estrogen testosterone combination. I had pain that I had physical therapy for and that helped that but I still needed the hormone boost.
I hope you are talking to someone about the pain during intercourse.

Re: 4 Months Post Op - Where did my libido go?
Thanks. My gyn told me to give it time for the pain so I'm waiting a little longer but if it's not better soon I'll call. I'm going to talk wit my GP next week about the libido. I prefer she do all the prescribing because I had a couple of issues post op.

sounds like you have a good plan. Depending on what kind of pain you have it could be a variety of things...part of it could still be your body getting used to things, part of it could be granulation - I had that and it could also be some muscle triggers / spasms (I had that too).
So as long as they are watching it and you had some extra repairs, that's the good thing.
