am i a wimp?

6 weeks post op ,first day of therapy, she massaged my suture line were I really had no feeling and now its all pins and needles? I lost 6 lbs but my belly is huge ,I still spot when I try to fuction normal thinking about not returning to work until Dec due to I stand about 7 hours ,and now I barely do 2 hours of chores without feeling Iike I worked all day .help!

No. It sounds like you're in real pain. Don't beat yourself up because you're still in pain. All recoveries are not the same. At least you're smart enough to know when you're overdoing it and are actually going to do (or not do, in this case) something about it. As long as you're doing your part by taking care of yourself/doing what your doctor says, you shouldn't blame yourself.

Aww, sorry. The other ladies are right, this was a major surgery and you need to let your body heal. Take it easy. I am around 8 weeks and my stomach is still swollen too. Do something nice for yourself tomorrow. Rent a movie you really like or get a milkshake. Take a little time off from stressing on recovery and relax, don't worry about anything for even just a little while....Sounds sort of silly, but it has helped me. Surgery recovery, I found was/is a full-time job! lol! Take it easy..
