Angry - Finally...Dr. wants to see me! Finally...Dr. wants to see me!

Well, I will be 4 wks on Friday and still not urinating on my own. Well, the last two days have been really bad. i am now having issues with my bowel. When I was pregnant with my twins, I got hemoroids really bad and now they are back with a vengence. With all the pushing that I have to do in order to urinate, it feels like razor blades in my hiney. I have been unable to pee in the mornings because of this. This morning I was cramping and throwing up while on the potty. It was like dejavue when I had the stage iv endo and a period. Ugh...anyway, I called the doctor (again) and told him what was going on and he said he wanted to see me immediately tomorrow. I am not sure if he just wants to passify me or if he thinks there is something wrong. Everyone that I have talked to has told me to get a second opinion though. My sister works for Mayo Clinic and the nurse there said that this is definately not normal with a hysto. (not being able to pee unless I push extremely hard...4 wks out). I know I feel like this is the end of the world, but then I read how much everyone here has gone through and it makes me sad. I just want to be normal again. I am only 37 yrs. old and am trying to keep up with boy/girl twins that are 4 yrs. old and they are tired of mommy being sick and tired all the time.....

Thanks for listening to me.......
Julie

So sorry that you're having to deal with all of these urinary/bm issues! How horrible! You're right, you definitely need to be checked by the doc over this. Absolutely!!!

Hopefully, things will get squared away for you soon! The "normal" recouperation stuff is bad enough -- geez! I'm sure your doc will come up with a solution for you. Funny how we come to appreciate the "little things" (like going to the bathroom!), isn't it?

Hang in there!

I would seek a second opinion. it cannot hurt and may be helpful..Is you doc a uro gyn? If not I would look for one, or a urolgist who deals with women. Some uroligists deal alot with men. Did any one mention to you about self cathing, until you get the problem solved? All that pushing is bad. but something is not right here.

I'm so sorry that you are going through such a difficult time. Pushing to pee is not good for you. You should be relaxing the muscles. Try different positions on the potty, leaning forward, leaning back. Some women even straddle the pot backwards to get the flow going. Do not wait until your bladder is very full. The muscle gets stretched and it cannot contract well. Just please do not push. I hope that you get some answers from the dr.

Hope you are feeling better. I've had the same experiences with endo and my cycle. The razor blade feeling could be cuts inside your anus. I have had them and my GI doctor said they were fissures. He gave me a suppository which helped to heal the cuts and numb them so bm's were more comfortable. It worked well.
