You *should* be doing something other than laying around. Specifically, you should intersperse the laying around with short, frequent walks. Walking will help you heal and will also help regulate your appetite and sleep patterns. :-)

Im 6 days post LAVH and I'm walking around, I stretch a little throughout the day, but mostly rest

When I was walking and going to the store, etc after day 3 I really felt it so quickly reigned in overdoing it

Your body will tell you when you can do the next steps

I took a nap every day for the first 3 weeks or so but other than that didn't have an issue with fatigue. I was a bit bored, I wanted to read or cross stitch but couldn't concentrate well enough to do either.

Before my surgery my doctor told me 6 weeks to heal, but I didnt get cleared until 8 weeks. My main issues were swelling (swelly belly and swollen vagina), pain when sitting and pressure down below when standing.

We are all individuals and heal in our own way and at our own rate. Listen to your body and listen to your doctor. Follow the restrictions your doctor gave you. Walk frequently as you feel able, as this will help your healing and regulate your bowel. Sit outside and get fresh air. Let others empty the dishwasher and push the shopping cart. Pushing and pulling put strain down below, where your stitches and healing tissues are.
