Unusual Pains????? What are the signs of Prolapse?

Hopefully someone can help me with this . . .

I'll be at week 7 tomorrow and I am having some weird pains. Sometimes on the left side and sometimes on the right. It seems to just depend on the day. I also have pains in the front lower area (like towards the top of the pubic hair area) sometimes more to the right side. Not sure that I can really describe them other than sharp shooting pains. They doubled me over two days in a row. I also sometimes still have the burning sensations.

This part is embarassing - I am having bowel movements but I swear that I can feel them start and move throughout and it is very painful. Like the worst cramps you've ever had. I had this before the surgery but thought that it was because my Uterus was enlarged.

Does anyone have any idea as to what this could be?

I was also wondering if anyone knew what the signs of prolapse would be and if anyone had experienced it?

I am having the same pain. I describe it as a dance of pain between my intestines, bladder and surgical wounds that is orchestrated by my intestines. I take 1/2 a pain pill when it starts and continue to keep it under control until it passes (literally ). For awhile it was even causing me bladder spasms which my Dr. Rxd me Detrol for and those have cleared up. I have found that not eating too much dense meat or too much bread at one time helps. The smoother everything is running through the less pain I get. Since I had my gallbladder out 7 1/2 weeks after my BSO it has caused extra problems in that area.

Foods that cause you to get gassy ( I have sworn off sodas) are a big pain causer also. Take Care. Vickey

I had a vaginal prolapse 6 weeks after my hyst. My symptoms were alot of red blood, cramping and extreme pain.

i had a vaginal hysterectomy and repair done due to prolapse the only symptoms of a prolapse for me was that i could feel something in my vagina i didnt have any pain. I was terrified at first but after talking to friends felt a lot better thats why i had my op. If i can be of any more help just e mail me ok. Take care

I was a 3 a day Diet Coke addict. Gave it up when I first started having pain several months ago to keep the gas build up down. I went through withdrawal too! :hair:

I drank my first DC day before yesterday and was miserable yesterday. Guess it depends on how the carbonation affects you personally. Luckily I like tea also!
