Re: Best Wishes to our December 21 Princesses

I am a busy woman so I don't spend alot of time online but saw this post and wanted to say thanks. =)
I had a nervous day yesterday(with PMS involved everything makes me nervous) for Pre-op. I met the dr doing my surgery and felt better after the meeting. Today I am eager for this to be over. I have had years of dealing with cysts and pain. I started taking birth control when I was 15 for cysts and I am now 40. Two laps to remove cysts. Eight years ago I had HPV diagnosis and pre-cancerous cells removed from my cervix. Removal of my right ovary four years ago.

This might be over for me after tomorrow but we will be watching our two daughter's health now. The dr said that ovarian cyst and uterine cancer are hereditary. My paternal grandmother died from uterine cancer. (So that makes me anxious to know what the mass is on my enlarged uterus.)
My 14 yr old has already had a ruptured cyst.

Re: Best Wishes to our December 21 Princesses

Thank you so much!! I must admit to being a bit more nervous than I had anticipated. I know it will all be fine, but it's hard being on this side of things. Plus, I'm a bit stressed trying to get everything possible done before I go since Christmas is right around the corner. I've been cleaning and sterilizing, becoming a bit germaphobic but I have had to take deep breaths and remind myself that all will be well. And everything doesn't have to be spotless before I go to the castle...haha!
Thanks so much for being there for us! It means a lot!!!

Re: Best Wishes to our December 21 Princesses

Thank You for the well wishes. Feeling very nervous about what they will find tomorrow. Have a history of severe endometrios. Been running a fever daily for two months with pelvic pain. Plan is a total hysterectomy, tubes, ovaries and appendectomy. I will have the Da Vinci. Trying to get thru the bowel prep right now. Good luck and God Bless everyone.

Re: Best Wishes to our December 21 Princesses

I'm so nervous too, and worried about what the dr. will find in there. I'm hoping for minimal adhesions, since I've had two prior abdominal surgeries. I just want this all behind me, and I'm ready to start my journey to healing. Thank you for all the good wishes, and best of luck to all you other ladies! See you on the other side!
