Hi dear sister, I just wanted to let you know I am in the same boat, as far as being a teacher. I scheduled my Hysterectomy in September (!) so I would be sure to get the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. My doctor was very understanding regarding my job, and I am very thankful for that. As we know, the month of December is pretty much a "blow off" month as far as school is concerned, only 2 weeks of school that month here for me. So that made the most sense to me, I will be released by my doc on 10 January if all goes well. I did not recover from my c-sections properly, which has caused all of the adhesions and pain, and I am going to do this right!

I will keep you in my thoughts.
