Dealing with the pain

I have multiple fibroid tumors and possible adenomyosis. The pain I have is always there, but sometimes I get sharper pains if I move wrong, etc. My worst pain is sitting on the toilet, if I strain even a little it hurts alot. Also when I lay down in bed it starts hurting. 2 nights ago I had to get up and go out on the couch the pain was so bad. Doc has me on anti-inflammitory and also hydrocodone if I need it.
Does anyone have any tips for dealing with the pain?

Have you tried ice packs or a heating pad? Some pain can be eased by soaking in a tub of warmer water.

Does your doctor have you taking the meds continously or only as needed? If only as needed, you might want to sit down and talk to your doctor about how often you are in pain and how often it is not controlled and see if together you can come up with a pain management plan that will help keep you ahead of the pain.

Thanks, I'm going into see him today, hes going to do a Endometrial biopsy.
He has me on an anti-inflammatory continuously and hydrocodone as needed.
Last night I would get sharp pains, then it would go away, then sharp pain again, pretty much all night. I am definitely going to discuss the pain with him today. Also we are going to decide what we are going to do. I'm leaning towards the LSH.
