Mind made up, scheduling Hyst at dr. appt today

I don't want to take the 'chance' that an ablation is or isn't going to work. I'm hoping my doc will understand as I'm sure she will. My appt is this afternoon, so within the next day or so, I should have a date....can't wait for AF to be GONE FOREVER!!!

good luck at your appointment..what kind of hysterectomy are you having?

I think that is a good decision. I had an ablation and it did not work. A year later I had a LSH( laproscopic hysterectomy) and now 1 year later need A&P repairs!!!! If you can delete at least one surgery it is worth it!

I Know it is a hard decision to make, But I honestly think that you have made the right choice. Good luck!

I have not written an into yet as i am not really sure where to begin. However i read your post and though i am late i wanted to show my support.
I myself have been dealing with diffrent and similar medical issues all year. I have been put under with general three times since may. Now i am being told i have Fibroids. My Hubby and i talked and decided to just have a hysterectomy but everyone is 'screaming' at me that there are other options and to not do it. I just don't know.
I think you need to do what you feel is right for you and not allow others to influance your decision. It's your body and your life. Only you know whats right for you.
