5.5 weeks post hysterectomy - I'm all greasy!

Ever since I had my hysterectomy 5 and a half weeks ago my hair and face have been so oily! I hate it. My face is all broken out and I just don't feel attractive. I'm not sure if it's related to the hysterectomy but I honestly can't think of anything else that is different. Anyone else have this issue or is it just me? I kept my ovaries by the way. Maybe it's still a hormonal issue though?

Me too! I'm only 10 days out but my hair and face are driving me crazy! I am chalking it up to hormones and that everything needs to settle down. I have both my ovaries too so I think it just takes some time for our bodies to regulate Hope it gets better soon for you!

I also have a very oily face which never was the case prior to my TAH Sept 27th. Kept 1 ovary and am hoping it is the change and settles back to how it was previously.

Sure could be hormones! I was on progesterone and Megace for three months prior to surgery and my hair was awful! Crunchy is the only way I can describe it. Much better now, almost 5 weeks out. Might be that you need to try switch facial/hair products until things level out?
