2 days to go and boom, Migraine (talk of son)

Oh my aching head. My TVH, A&P is Friday. I had 2 more days at work and a few projects to finish. I have had a very bad year at work. Very uncharacteristic for me. Very discouraging. Had an end of year margarita with my boss, who is awesome. She and the other big man in my office have been very supportive. But I am having to look hard at the fact that my performance has suffered this year due to medical problems. That is very hard for me to swallow. Anyway, 2 more days to go. 4 year old son is being very uncharacteristically clingy to his mama. I think he is scared. So on top of it all. MASSIVE migraine Will they let me have the morphine pump early. I do not know what the cause is. The fact that my body is being so wretched as to subject me to one more period, the margarita, the stress. I have taken everything I have in my arsenal. I just need to get through one more day at work. AHHHHHHHH. OK I feel better now.

Hey Golfgal - Best wishes on your surgery on Friday - I too am having a TVH with A&P repair, and bladder sling - I just found out today at my preop that my surgery is going to be that involved. I'm freaked out all over again. I really hope you do well and will be thinking of you on Friday. I would love to hear how you are doing afterwards. I'm so afraid of going through this. I also just found out I'll need to be off work four weeks, and I work at home!! All of this is a bit overwhelming - no wonder you have a pounding headache! Let us all know how you are doing. Remember ~ you are not alone!!
