LAVH: What to expect after

I will be having a LAVH/BSO on Wed. It is my understanding that I will get a patch in recovery and be on the patch from then on out.

How quickly do you feel the effect of the ovaries being removed? Emotional, night sweats, hot flashes etc? When, time wise, does this happen? In the first week, weeks, or much later 4-6 weeks after?

If there is going to be a bad emotional response to the lack of hormones, how quickly does it happen? In the first week or longer after? I know everyone is different but for those of you who struggle or struggled with emotional stuff after the BSO, when did it start? Right after or weeks later?

Anyone know the process by which the hormones leave your body? How long before your body is rid of all the hormones and you are strictly on the HRT hormones? How long did it take, generally speaking for others to find the right hormones and levels?

Still feeling pretty scared about the after effects of this hysterectomy/BSO.
