13 weeks post-hysterectomy: bathroom success

Please forgive me,yet again,discussing my bowels,but anyone who has read my posts regarding these matters,will know my genuine concern over being 13 weeks out and only able to open my bowels with the aid of suppositories. Although there are worse things to contend with,I was beginning to think that was going to be my forever new normal.As from today,I an very happy to report that nature seems to wnt to deal with this without any intervention.I think it shows that even this far out our bodies can suprise us with their healing powers,and to be of comfort to anyone else dealing with this sort of thing.thank you for listening.

I am still using prune juice or milk of magnesia occasionally. It is just too scary having to push at all. Yikes!!! I have now found that liquorice seems to work, so this I what I will use now... Fibre and water did not help me. P.s. It took 7 days after to go...

I don't think you hold the record though Cinl11. Whatever works,that's all that matters in the end.x
