No spotting then bleeding on post op day 5

I think I am calling the doc because I had no spotting after my lap. Supra cerv. Hyst. There have been a few instances of a little orangeish "material" coming out but minute amounts. No bleeding, though. Then on day 6, bleeding and some clotting.
I haven't been lifting anything but I did go to dinner and a movie the night before. I know my uterus was bigger and spongier than expected so it was a little more difficult on my body than anticipated. But, is bleeding this early normal?
So far it is mostly bloody when wiping on my *many* trips to the bathroom and I just started to get blood on a pad tonight.
I am a little concerned but the pain has not gotten a whole lot worse.

First thing to do is get some extra rest. It's probably okay as long as you are not soaking a regular pad (not talking pantyliner) every hour or so. But, if you continue passing clots for a couple of days, definitely call the dr.
