need some food ideas...please!!!

I am 11 days & counting until my visit to the castle and I need some help from ladies who like to cook.
I can cook don't get me wrong but it just isn't one of those things I excell at. LOL We eat out quite a bit. I am also the queen of anything fast! LOL
So I was hoping that some of you might could lend me a hand.
I would like some recipes of maybe some casseroles or any kind of dishes that I could cook before my castle visit and freeze.
I have DH and 2 DS and believe me these guys can eat!

They aren't picky, if it doesn't get them first they'll eat it! LOL

I am being a good LIW and reading all the posts about what I cannot do after I come from home from the castle and am trying to be as prepared as possible.

You can send any suggestions or recipes to my e-mail if you wish:
kellg@web-unwired.net
Thank You so Much!!!

PS. we do not have any food allergies......

Try the cookbook from Prevention Magazine called "5 ingredients 15 minutes". The slow-cooker chapter is particularly good and it looks like everything in there would freeze just fine. You could do one recipe every other day and have your freezer full well before your surgery.

I made great use of my microwave and my slow cooker. You won't be able to lift the crock-pot, but as long as one of your men gets it into place you should be fine. I used mine to make soup a couple of times, chili, pot roast, crazy day chicken (put a whole chicken in the slow-cooker, add a bottle of bar-be-que sauce, cook for 6 hours), etc.

Check out www.tupperware.com They usually have some decent receipes. I have one of their stack cookers and it was great while I was recovering.

Also, I have found that nearly anything that isn't fried can be frozen with decent results.
Take care.

Kelly, I love to cook and I found an awesome site for all kinds of recipes. You can use it now or better yet after your feeling better. Try it.......allrecipes.com. It's awesome!!!!! Good luck with your surgery.
