Tummy tuck concerns

I had a tummy tuck 12 years ago, now I need a hyster because of my horrific fibroids. Anyone out there had a pre-existing tummy tuck when you had your abdominal hyster? Did it cause a problem? I'm new and SOOOO happy to have found you online. I'm introducing myself and posting this question. Thanks

I really don't see how it would be an issue at all. I have had a tummy tuck (20 years ago), and there is a possibility of my surgery turning into abdominal, and the would just use a small part of the old scar. It shouldn't do much harm.

Have you talked with your about your previous tummy tuck? I would start there to find out if there are any special concerns you need to be aware of.
