What does a Post Op Vagina look like mine looks weird?

She said that I was losing too much blood to do any prolapse repairs which I definitely had. My vagina was protruding out of the opening. She admitted that my bladder was down but brushed it off as normal. She said if I needed to to go see a Uro Gyno. she orginally mentioned tacking and stitching my vagina back up but could not due to blood loss.

Sorry to hear you're still having problems.

I haven't looked/felt, but things seem reasonably OK aside from a few stray pains. I had some pain from the vaginal cuff during recovery, but it was less painful than the cramps I was having pre-hysterectomy. Now, frankly, it tickles a little (could be how "itching" feels in that part of my body).

The first couple of weeks post-surgery, I was very touch-me not (because most of the time anyone was touching me, it was a professional and it hurt!). I started having somewhat erotic dreams last week, and I hope we might be up for some mild make-out sessions soon. Probably won't be cleared for any kind of penetration for another week or two, hopefully before the end of the month (we're traveling a little at that time).

Lovely lady lumps. With the issues you've described I would absolutely not have sex at 6 weeks without an internal exam. My 6 week internal exam showed my cuff wasn't nearly healed and my doctor restricted sex even longer. It boggles my mind that your doctor isn't examining you before clearing for sex with all the prolapse issues you've had on top of this current concern of yours. If you weren't healed several weeks ago when she did your last exam, then how can your doc just assume your healed now?

I also have to push on my right butt cheek to make room for stool to come out without lots of straining. I'll be honest I wasn't going to go see a URO Gyno because I didn't want them to think I was neurotic but I am because it is my body and I deserve to know. Thanks for all of the imput.

How on earth do you see inside your vagina with a mirror? Like a dental mirror?? I'm curious
