Post op - 20th April 2012.

Hi All!

Well it is Day 6 after surgery. I am still bloated, sore and tired. I am managing my pain with the meds although stretching out the doses. I went out again for a while today (with the help of my Husband). I have to say that at the moment that each day I seem to be getting a bit better. I am finding it difficult not being able to do things around the house but I know that hopefully a few weeks down the line that I can start doing small chores.
I hope that as many of you are feeling as well as I am so far.

Re: Post op - 20th April 2012.

You sounds like you are doing quite a bit right after surgery if you are going out with your hubby. Please take it easy and focus on eating well, drinking lots of water, resting a lot and walking as your body will let you. When you get that heavy feeling in the bottom of your tummy, it is time to go horizontal. Take care of yourself. :hugs5:

Re: Post op - 20th April 2012.

I am 3 weeks post op and haven't been out of the house yet except doctor visits. I'm still bloated and sore and weaning down the pain meds. It seems like you are over doing it for 6 days post op. You have a lot of internal things needing to heal even if you feel ok, you need to rest.

Re: Post op - 20th April 2012.

Hi all!

Day 8 after surgery. I am resting today and will be doing the same tomorrow. I will listen to your advice. I am tender today as if my insides have been to the gym. I was very bloated yesterday and today I seem to be very tired. I also don't seem to have a good appetite at the moment. Hope all the rest of you are doing well. Sorry for moaning.
