Burning Pain in Belly

I am three months post op and I except for fatigue I was feeling that I was putting this behind me. I started exercising again and it is hard but it feels good. But I have developed a constant burning pain right below my belly button. It feels like I had a scratch and went swimming in salt water! Anyone ever had a feeling like this? It doesn't feel like muscle pain, so I don't know how it could be related to my exercise.

re:burning pain in belly

Hi Danaka, I went and played some golf at my 8 weeks post op and apparently with all the twisting I aggravated some scar tissues.I have been to the doctor for this too. I have a burning/hot pain in my incision area. I am 8 months post and still have the pain on and off. Now it seems the whole lower half of my stomach burns/hot pain after I do some kind of exercising or even housework like bending over a lot. I was told this is normal, it is the scar tissues flaring up. I have to take some tylenol and I use hot/cold packs when it gets worse. The only thing that helped me out mentally was to go see my dr and have her check me out inside and out. She made sure that I didn't have a hernia or any tearing on the inside. Once she told me I looked great on the inside and outside I was able to relax a little. She told me if the pain was getting worse to come back in but if it was improving with time to not to worry. So if it doesn't go away or gets worse I would go to the dr and have it checked out. Better safe than sorry. Good luck to ya and let us know how your doing.

Thanks, that sounds like exactly what I have too. I am going to call my doctor about it to see what they say.
