2 months post hysterectomy: Very sore and swelly after sex

Anyone else find they had extremely sore stomach muscles and were extremely swelly after the first time having sex?
I would assume its because of sort of the situp type motion and not doing that for a long time, things are going to be sore.
But man so so sore and swelly.
At the time it felt great but then the day after and today so sore still.
Anyone have tips or stretches or something to help.
Trying to take it easy today since yesterday had to go out and stuff so that didn't help.
Just so so sore and swelly still.
Anyway thought to see if anyone had stretches or tips or something to help.

I guess I will find out tomorrow , after I stop moving for the night. I am 5 weeks post op after my DvH with 6 abdominal incisions. My Dr gave me the ok for intercourse today. It may be a little different since you had a TAH.

Well Steff33, you are not alone. Even with a DvH my belly is tender, I am a little swollen, feel bruised and achey. Compare it to a boxing match I lost.

Yeah this morning a wee bit less swelly but now horribly swelly and achey....

It does just rest afterwards while your DH makes breakfast . Sometimes a bath after feels really nice or a heating pad.

It may mean that your body needs just a little more time. I would give it a few days before trying again. When you do, go easy and gently, ( well, as gently as possible) at least for the first few times, until your body gets adjusted again. You may find this article helpful

Just because the Drs day it's ok, it might not be pain free. But your body will have to get back in shape again, slowly. Even at 5 months, my insides take a lil bit to get adjusted. But so much better than the point your at. Remember there's an incision inside and essentially it's being bumped during sex and will still be tender for awhile. During arousal you don't feel the discomfort, but then when it's over, here it comes. Sounds normal. Take baby steps.

And i am saying no for a bit but might try again sometime but slower...
Thats the thing when it feels really good you just go with it and then bam the next day you feel it.....
And still feeling it 3 days after.....
