7 days post op I think and doing pretty good

I can't remember if you count surgery day in the count or not, but my surgery was on May 9th. If you start counting the next morning, I am now 7 days post op, and if you include surgery day, then I am 8 days now.

I'm soooooo confused!

anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know that I am feeling pretty good. I have recovered from overdoing it on Friday by not doing much for 3 days now.

Today was my first day home alone, and I managed very well. I ate a muffin for breakfast, sandwich for lunch, and husband is cooking dinner now.

Have not had a pain pill since this morning.

DH said that if I promise to rent a wheel chair and promise to only go to the movies and back, he will let me go see monster in law tomorrow or wednesday. It all depends on how I am feeling.

I still have not had a bm, and my doctors office was closed today, I will have to call tomorrow.

Sounds like you are doing well. I hope you continue to do so. I am 2 weeks and 3 days post-op and doing pretty well too.
