Uhoh! feeling a bit nervous..postop appt. tomorrow

Tomorrow is my six week post op appt. I am been feeling really great until today. I have started a pink tinged discharge again and achey in lower ab. I moved a few boxes of files on Saturday but did not lift...just shoved and pushed. Took some ibuprofen which I have not done in weeks. Worried about appt and what she will do? I know she will examine me internally but anything else. If I am still spotting will she let me go back to work?? Just a bit nervous. Laura

Don't worry...yes she will do an internal examine. I had my post-op last Thursday and my doctor did the internal, then sat down on his stool to talk to me and answer any questions I had (I had a list). I had an LSH so I went to work after 3 weeks. Make a list of questions, my dr answered most of mine before I asked (I guess they were pretty common), but he was very patient and let me ask everything. We also looked at the pics from my surgery and he explained what he was showing me.

Tell her about the spotting, and ask her any questions so that you feel comfortable!!

I know how you feel! I have my 6 week apointment tomorrow too- I had the surgery the same day you did! I don't feel no where near ready to go back to work. I'm very nervous about the appointment.
