Unexpected stay overnight after surgery?

I did not take much. Really did not even want much. I slept mostly and then dealt with getting ready to leave... Bathroom... eating... walking... ect..

I took a small bag for my clothes. I had extra socks and unddies in it. I did take my comfy down pillow with me. I loved having my own pillow to sleep with. Took a makeup bag but never used any of it except my hairbrush and hair tie. I wore slippers and comfy clothes to the hospital and just wore the same home.

I look back on the whole thing and really I never missed anything. The night went by so fast and then I was home to everything I could want...

All I took was toothbrush, chapstick, iphone. I very much wish I had taken my heating pad with me as my tummy would have liked that. I did not have a sore throat post op and did not feel up to walking anywhere except to the bathroom. I was told I would be admitted for one night but ended up staying for two.
