Re: One week post hysterectomy - wondering if anyone had trouble behaving due to feeling fine

I have wondered the same since I have not had any bleeding or surgical menopause feelings, but because of that feeling I have overdone things a bit and feel terrible today. SO now I feel worse than the day I came home. Back to step one

Returned on Monday and am having some discomfort due to sitting for so long, even with making an effort to walk around every hour. I enjoy my job and love my coworkers & clients, so thought I’d go nuts being gone from work for 6 weeks, but started to really enjoy the time off! My advice is to take the full 6 weeks and enjoy the time to take care of you (and get some pampering!), not too often we get to do that - I haven’t had more than 2 weeks off work in 25 years and it was so wonderful!!!
Hi there

I was happy to see your reply, as I too work from home and was starting to feel guilty about not going back.... I have done a few bits and pieces but don't feel I want to sit at the desk for hours. i just know that will be a killer the next day! Interested see you took the full 6 weeks, and that you feel better for it. I planned to do that all along, but at this stage it starts to feel like time to go back...

That all said, as with the OP I felt fine the first week, and the second to an extent, so obviously I overdid it and have been paying for it since! No matter how many people tell you not to be superwoman, it kinda feels like you are somehow the exception! Until its too late.

But god is it boring!!!
