Is culdoplasty uncomfortable?

I know everyone experiences pain differently but will a culdoplasty make the hyst experience more uncomfortable? What can I expect from this particular "procedure"?

I think you have a very good doctor to include the culdoplasty in your surgery - who wants to deal with a possible vaginal prolapse in the future.
I had pulling before my hyst - to the sides of my belly button and was told that my prolapsed uterus was causing the feeling -the tendons were being stretched - well I still have that feeling sometimes - as those same tendons were used in my culdoplasty - but it seems to be getting better - never painful just sore. I wasn't prepared for the doctor to even mention this procedure. I already have a mild cystocele, mild cervical prolapse from a weakened pelvic floor. I was worried about things worsening after surgery.

Any reason your "stalling" on the rectocele repair?
