TAH 6 Months Post Op Today

In the beginning I felt bloated, heavy and totally uncomfortable. I gained weight and was not happy with the healing process. Now, six months post op, I have lost the excess weight plus a few extra pounds and the bloating has subsided. I feel more energized (except when I work long hours). My sex life is GREAT with my hubby and the fact I no longer need to purchase maxi pads makes me jump up and click my heels.

Yeah! Good to know there is hope! I've gained about 6 lbs since surgery - 2 just from Easter! Just got to begin excercise yesterday - carefully!

I feel your joy! I gained about 12 pounds after surgery, and now I'm four months post op and I've lost 14 pounds. And no more pads and tampons! Great to hear you're feeling good! I am too!

Well done you. Not such a speedy recovery and really hoping to tackle weight loss now but all in all the best decision I ever made too.
