Migraines and Hysterectomy
I posted the same question before my surg.Since my surgery, I have only suffered one migraine. I believe it was caused from the anest. and I was . I used to suffer terrible migraines that would put me in the bed for a few days before and during my period, along with severe pain. I feel like a new woman. I am not going to guarantee that it will cure your migraines but my experience since my surgery is that it helped me tremendously with my migraines and pain. Hope you get the same results!

Migraines and Hysterectomy
Mine totally went away. They were called menstrual migraines and they were horrible. Towards the end, even Rx meds would not help. January was 2 years since my hyster and I haven't had the first migraine.
God bless you ladies!

Migraines and Hysterectomy
I have been thinking about the same question. My mom also said her migraines lessened after her hyst and I've been hoping the same will happen to me. Glad to hear that others got better too!

Migraines and Hysterectomy
Hi
My migraines started when I was 8 also ... been a long time! I'm sorry to say that, for me, my migraines are just the same ... could be due to still having my ovaries, as so many migraines are hormone-related?
I get loads around 'that' time of the month but then, I get loads the rest of the time as well!
Hope it works for you ... best not to expect too much and then any improvement will be a bonus!
