sex the nite before??

ooooooooooh good 10 pt question!!!! hehe

I wondered about that myself. I'm sure it would be a bonus for the both of us. It would be a great send off for hubby (LOL) and a wonderful way to relax the night before.

What I'm wondering is if anyone has done it the morning of, before the surgery? woohoo!!!!

Oh my goodness

Actually -

There was a lady on here about 7 months ago who "did it" the morning of...

She said she told the doctor about it, and he told her it didn't matter to him since everything was coming out anyway. I mean, many women go in there on their period, so evidence of "Woo Hoo" would actually be less messy, wouldn't you think??!!

OMG--I can't stop laughing...I haven't been DOUBLE-DOGGED dared in ages!!!!

You know, I think I remember reading that post about that gal who did it in the morning. What the heck, might just as well throw all caution to the wind when nature calls. I'm sure the A-man would get a kick out of knowing what that big smile was you had on your face just before you went "nighty-night".

Sex, the night before surgery, was fabulous for so many reasons - Of course, there's the obvious, but even besides that - -The closeness was something we both needed and it was so reassuring for both of us.

We actually spent most of the evening prior to surgery holding and touching eachother, and just talking about everything we wanted to say. My DSO is an amazing man, and I'm so grateful for him every day. But, I digress.....

Sex the night prior to surgery??? Rock on !!

We had actually been told "no penetration" thanks to my giant cyst in the four weeks before my surgery (I promised my DH lots of "other stuff" though, some of which he actually got ).

The morning of, I was not due at the Castle until 10 a.m. So we dropped the kidlet off at school and, (with the doctor's blessing) turned my pre-op shave into an "event". It was sweet and nostalgic, as we knew it would be different after surgery.

As it turns out, a year down the road, it's not all that different (except mostly NO PAIN!!! ). But that morning hour was one I'll never forget, full of love, smiles, and affirmation of our lives together...

If you don't have a condition that prevents penetration, the condoms sound like a good idea. I was having a supracervical hyst, so the vaginal canal wasn't a prospective "surgical site"...but keeping that area "clean" seems like it would be something to consider.

And then, GO FOR IT!!! And six to ten weeks is really a short time, in the scheme of things, when you think of a sexual future free of pain and bleeding .
