had a lavh

I had my total everything gone lavh on March 11th, I ended up spending one night in the hospital. It was supposed to be an outpatient procedure but due to low oxygen levels they kept me one night which made my husband feel better. This is day 5 post-op I was doing fine but then on Friday night I started having severe pain off the pain chart the pain made me bent over and screaming in pain I took my pain meds and after awhile it elevated enough for me to get some sleep on Sat am I had the same type of pain again I thought maybe it was due to my IBS so I took a laxative thinking this would help me it didn't I have a high pain threshold and low pain pill threshold The pain comes in waves like an ocean lasts about 30 seconds to several minutes several times a day is this normal???

usercoco01 - how is that pain you were experiencing? Has it gotten better? It sort of sounds like gas, but I would call and speak to a doctor about it. They can ask you the right questions to determine if you need to come in or anything. Good luck!!
