I sure hope you ate something REALLY bland at that restaurant.

Did they say the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce and toast?) You could probably also eat small amounts of chicken with no spices, sauce or extra oil.

Give your stomach a SERIOUS break for at LEAST a couple days, and don't reintroduce any possible problem foods til you're SURE your tummy feels better. Believe me, you don't need any more agony, especially as it sounds like it could be something serious!!!

HI d_lo, I just wanted to say that I am sorry to hear that you are feeling so bad. I hope you get better soon.I had been doing very well until this past sunday . I woke up and and the right end of my incision was hurting pretty bad . but the strange thing is is that it only hurts when I move I don't know what the deal is but it feels like it is tearing open. I had my DH look at it and he said I was still closed , not dripping anything. and I don't have any fever or anything so I don't know what is up with that. and I can't imagine that it would reopen at 5wks post op. since it was almost all healed when I went to the doc at 2wks for a check up. I go back for my 6wk next week so if it is still a problem I will be asking about it. anyways I hope that you start to feel better soon, Cathy
